EXPANSION VALVE ADJUSTEMENTS

1)      Looking at display.

Top reading actual temperature reading.

Next figure down indicates set point.

Next figure down below the horizontal line indicates the % open of the expansion valve.

ADJUSTEMENTS

Hold + and – buttons down together continuously until scroll down through the parameters i.e.  PARA….SIMU…..until CONF.

Press “right” arrow till S.P.

Press “SEL”.

Press “UP” and “DOWN”  arrows to change data.

Once adjusted press “RIGHT” arrow until back to main display.

When sailing from Korea (new building) the set point on expansion valve 1-1 had to be changed from 10K to 7K,  and the set point on 1-2 had to be changed from 13K to 9K under the guidance of the Guarantee engineer to get the A/C running.
